Kosha Mangsho

Ingredients

500 gm mutton
1/4 cup mustard oil
1/2 cup grated onion
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp cumin seeds
500 gm dahi
4 pcs clove
salt to taste
cardamom as needed
cinnamon as needed

Method

1. Heat oil in a pan and add cloves, cardamom and cinnamon.
2. When aroma rises, add grated onions and fry them.
3. Now add the ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder and chilli powder and stir fry.
4. Add the mutton and saute for about half an hour.
5. Now add dahi, cumin and salt and saute till the fat separates.
6. Cover the pan and and cook over low flame.
7. Serve hot.
